Account & Subscription
First confirm which account and subscription you’re using, then manage device changes, configuration updates and client downloads.
Do I need an email address to create an account?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your username somewhere safe and choose a password you don’t use on other websites. You’ll need this account to access the user panel, check orders and submit support tickets. Since the account isn’t tied to an email address, don’t rely on your inbox as the only record of your account details. If you can’t log in, check your keyboard input, letter case and browser autofill for details from another account, then use the help options available on the login page. Never share your password or full subscription link.
Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update my route list?
Log in to the user panel and look for the subscription option in the account overview or client section; its exact name depends on what the panel displays. If you’ve imported a subscription but the routes haven’t changed, open subscription management in your client, find the K7VPN profile, update the subscription, then check the route list again. If the update fails, first make sure your device has a working internet connection and your account plan is active, then copy the current link from the panel again. Don’t edit the link parameters or mix links from different accounts into one profile. Subscription links contain account-related information, so hide the full address in any troubleshooting screenshots.
Do I need to buy another plan when I switch devices or use multiple devices?
There’s no limit on the number of devices that can be connected at the same time, so changing devices alone doesn’t require another plan. Sign in to the same account on your new device, get the compatible client and subscription from the user panel, import them, then choose a route. Supported platforms include Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Check the panel for iOS availability details. Unlimited devices refers to simultaneous connections; it doesn’t mean each device has a separate data allowance. Check your usage in the account panel. When you stop using an old device, sign out and remove any saved subscription profile to reduce the risk of account information being exposed.
What’s the difference between a client, a subscription and a plan?
The client establishes a connection on your device. The subscription provides the client with the routes available to your account. Your plan determines the account’s billing and data terms. Installing the client doesn’t import your subscription, and a successful import doesn’t mean you’ve selected an available route. We recommend following this order: sign in to the panel, check your plan status, get your subscription, import it into the client, then choose a route. On supported platforms other than iOS, sign in through the client to get started; check the panel for iOS availability details. If you need to reinstall, return to the downloads section in the user panel. Don’t use installers from unknown sources or configuration files shared by others.
Connections & Troubleshooting
Check your internet connection first, then review your subscription settings and app behavior. Avoid changing multiple settings at once.
The client says it’s connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check?
Disconnect first and check whether your device can reach websites that normally work on your current network. This helps confirm that your basic internet connection is working; if it isn’t, troubleshoot your local connection first. If it is, reconnect to the selected route and make sure the client is using the K7VPN profile you just imported. Then check whether system proxy settings or network extension permissions are active, and whether another proxy app is running at the same time. Change one setting at a time and note what happens. If only one website fails, don’t assume the entire route is unavailable. Check that site’s regional requirements, your account status and your app-routing rules.
Why can I browse the web, but a particular app won’t use the proxy?
Apps can use different network paths. A browser following the system proxy doesn’t mean every app follows the same setting. First check whether the client is in rule mode or another connection mode, then see whether the target app is set to connect directly by your routing rules. If the client offers system-wide network routing, check its documentation for the required permissions and supported scope; a switch being enabled doesn’t necessarily mean the feature is working. After changing settings, fully quit and reopen the app so it doesn’t keep using an existing connection. Apps on managed devices may also follow separate network policies. Follow your organization’s device requirements and don’t remove its configuration without permission.
An error appears when I import my subscription. Should I reinstall the client?
Not as a first step. Make sure you copied the full subscription link from the panel, not the panel’s web address, shared text or an incomplete link from a screenshot. Also check that you’re using the client’s subscription import option, not the form for manually entering server settings. Spaces or line breaks at either end of the address can also cause errors. If you’ve already imported it, try updating the existing subscription first to avoid duplicate profiles and a confusing route list. If the error persists, note the exact message, your operating system and client details, then submit a support ticket through the user panel. In screenshots, show only the error and hide your subscription link, password and other account details.
My connection keeps dropping. What information should I include in a support ticket?
First check whether every app disconnects or only one, and whether the issue persists when you switch networks. In your ticket, include your platform, client, route name, when the issue occurred and what you saw just before and after the connection dropped. If you’ve tried another route or reimported the subscription, include what happened. Reproducible steps are more useful than simply saying the connection is poor. Device sleep, automatic network switching and background permissions can all affect connection stability, so check each one. Don’t attach your password, full subscription link or unreviewed logs.
Speed & Routes
Distinguish data allowances, route paths and platform playback requirements. Keep your testing setup consistent when comparing routes.
Video buffers during peak hours. Should I switch routes or change plans first?
Troubleshoot the route and your local network first; a plan’s data allowance isn’t a video speed tier. Pause large file transfers on the same network, make sure your Wi-Fi is stable, then compare available routes with the same video at the same resolution. If only one platform buffers, check its regional availability and account playback requirements. If every app is slow, focus on your local network and the selected route. Choose a plan based mainly on your data usage; adding data doesn’t eliminate network congestion. If the issue continues, note the route, time and app behavior, then submit a support ticket.
How should I choose between an IEPL route, a relay and a direct connection?
These terms describe how a route is set up; they aren’t a universal ranking for every use case. IEPL routes typically use a dedicated transmission path, relays connect through an intermediary node, and direct connections use fewer intermediate hops. Your experience still depends on your network, destination region and server status. For access to services in mainland China, first confirm that the client is in the appropriate mode, then choose a route from the currently available list that suits the service. When comparing routes, keep the app and local network the same and check page loading, playback continuity or session stability. Don’t judge by the route name alone or treat one test as a long-term guarantee.
Does wider regional coverage mean every route can access every platform?
K7VPN offers 100+ countries / 210+ routes, but coverage doesn’t mean every route supports every platform or all regional content. Streaming services and AI tools may base access on exit region, account region, payment details and their own risk controls; platforms can also change availability. Before choosing a route, decide whether you need access to services in mainland China or services in another region, then check the platform’s requirements. If you see a regional error, save the exact message and, provided you comply with the platform’s terms, check whether your account region matches the selected route. Availability should be verified in practice; coverage figures aren’t a promise of access to any specific platform.
My route is connected. Why can’t I get higher video quality?
Video quality depends on more than your connection. It can also be affected by the content, your platform account benefits, player settings, device decoding capabilities and current network conditions. First confirm that the content is available at your target resolution and that the platform supports playback on your device and browser. Then check whether the player is set to automatic quality. When testing routes, use the same content and playback setup so you don’t mistake differences in the content for network issues. If you see a specific error, address that first rather than repeatedly switching routes. Features such as Dolby Vision also depend on your device and the full playback chain; whether an accelerated connection is enabled isn’t enough to determine support.
Billing & Refunds
Check your billing method, data reset date and order details before troubleshooting payment or refund issues.
How much is a monthly plan, and when does data reset?
Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not at the start of each calendar month. Check the account panel for your current billing cycle and remaining data. When choosing a plan, consider how you typically use it, including video streaming, file transfers and use across multiple devices. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Check the resulting order in the panel; don’t estimate it by subtracting full-month prices. Before paying, confirm the plan, billing method and order total. See the pricing page for the full comparison.
What’s the difference between a data pack and a monthly plan?
Data packs cost ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They last until used and never expire; monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date. Choose based on your usage habits rather than treating the two products as equivalent billing options. If you use the service regularly, start by checking the monthly plan’s data allowance. If your usage is occasional, review how data packs are consumed. If you already have a monthly plan and are considering a data pack, check the available products and order details in the user panel. Don’t assume products can be combined, share validity periods or consume data in a particular order. For combination rules not listed here, refer to the actual order details.
Which payment methods are supported, and what if my account status doesn’t update after payment?
Supported payment methods include Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Create an order in the user panel and pay using the method shown on the checkout page. If a transfer is required, check each detail against the current order rather than relying on an old order screenshot. If you’ve paid but your account status hasn’t updated, check the order status in the panel and confirm the payment was deducted before trying again; duplicate attempts can create orders that are hard to match. If you need help, submit a ticket through the user panel with the relevant order and payment status, and hide payment account details that aren’t needed for troubleshooting. Don’t post payment screenshots, passwords or full subscription links in public discussions.
How do I request a 30-day no-questions-asked refund?
K7VPN offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the account used for payment, open the support ticket section in the user panel, explain that you’re requesting a refund and include the relevant order details so the payment can be checked. Read the full refund rules in the Terms of Service before submitting your request. This page doesn’t add any refund conditions or promise a processing time. If your request relates to connection issues, you can also include the troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried to help explain your experience. Don’t submit your password, full subscription link or unrelated personal information. After submitting, check ticket replies and your order status in the panel. Don’t make another payment to resolve a refund or order issue.
